do the right thing
No - not the obvious. Yes this includes abiding by the laws and ethics of the organization, community and larger entities of which we are an integral part. However there is so much more that is often ignored in leadership development.
|
impact interventions are designed to find out how a persons character is seen by others and to show a clear path to skill enhancement that will significantly change the way they are viewed. Without character, business effectiveness will not be all it could be.

The key to understanding how we are seen today and to developing stronger character skills (if necessary) is a 360º leadership assessment that accompanies The Miller-Hedley Leadership™ workshop. According to recent research we do not need to work on all our weaknesses to have management effectiveness - we only need to correct those that are holding us back and develop a few strengths to high levels. This is a less daunting task than traditional development approaches suggest.

Directing Your Vision helps develop a clear focus on achieving goals - no matter where we are in an organization. It shows how to learn from mistakes, eliminate the culture of blame and test our own reactions to situations to gain new insight into our own capability.
Situational Effectiveness addresses the intersection of opportunity, passion and capability. We identify strengths and match them to organizational goals. The workshop provides criteria for selecting the next project, assignment or career move.
Ethics we all know about, don’t we? Using a set of cases to determine how aligned we are, participants challenge and defend their positions. As cases progress, techniques to identify critical misalignment are introduced and we build strategies to close the gaps.
Building Your Beliefs addresses the power of belief in our abilities and the debilitating effect of disbelief. We investigate the limits of current beliefs and challenge our own thinking to set higher goals and break boundaries.
